Quercus grew from the acorn-sized idea that it would be fun to collaborate on a project that would allow us to blend Bill’s photographs with my verse. Words and pictures; a simple concept but with the potential to create a poignant reflection of the world around us. The subject matter of Quercus stretches from the wiregrass to the west coast and back again; across fifty years of life observing the beauty of our natural environment, as well as the folly of man.
